Kosovo held early elections yesterday after former PM Ramush Haradinaj resigned.
These elections were won by the Self-Determination Movement, led by Albin Kurti.
In an interview for Top Channel’s envoy to Prishtina, Muhamed Veliu, Albin Kurti also explained his relations with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama.
Muhamed Veliu: What is your message for the Albanians in Albania, and how do you plan on building the relations with PM Rama?
Albin Kurti: I believe that we shall have a good cooperation. I know the Prime Minister of Albania, and we need to implement the agreements that were signed so far.
We need government commissions for foreign policy, security, defense and for protecting our natural resources.
We should also have a joint register for businesses and civilians.
Kosovo and Albania have the opportunity to become more integrated with each other. Therefore, I am happy to cooperate with the Prime Minister of Albania, because that’s what the citizens need, and that’s what my good-will is based upon.
