
The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, met in Brussels with the Head of EU Foreign Policy, Federica Mogherini.
Mogherini said that Albania has made an extraordinary job in the judiciary reform, the fight against crime and corruption.
“It is a pleasure for me to welcome the Prime Minister of Albania in an important moment for the country’s EU path. Under his leadership, Albania has done an extraordinary job, especially as regards the judiciary reform, the fight against organized crime and corruption, a work that we support and that should continue. I am happy that once again we have the possibility to discuss how these steps can turn into a real possibility by early next year”, Mogherini delared.
Rma expressed his trust that Albania will have better results in the next months, hoping for a positive recommendation about the accession negotiations.
“I am proud that I am here with better results, and I am certain that there will be even more positive results in the upcoming months”, Rama said.
