Albanian weightlifter, Qerimaj, officially receives Bronze Medal two years later

A few weeks ago, the Albanian weightlifter, Erkand Qerimaj, was confirmed as the winner of the Bronze Medal in the Anaheim championship, held in the USA two years ago.
The athlete from Shkodra was ranked fourth after Dumitru, from Romania, who resulted positive for doping, losing this way his title. After this, Qerimaj moved up, to the third place.
The medal comes at the right time, with the European Championship in Georgia just weeks away. Qerimaj and the other athletes are preparing hard for one of the sports in which Albania has been more successful.
