Bakeries owned by Kosovo Albanians have been attacked this Thursday and Friday by groups of Vojvodina hooligans.
Unknown citizens have burned down a bakery and have damaged a fast-food shop.
The “Aspek” bakery was burned by Molotov cocktails and the fire was put out only after an intervention of the firefighters.
The Serbian police said they know who the authors are and are looking for them.
In Novi Sad, a group of hooligans have entered a bakery called “Europe” with Serbian and Hungarian workers, who have been attacked while the shop’s windows were shattered.
The attacks were condemned by the local authorities, civil society and the Ombudsman.
Three other properties were attacked after the Albania-Serbia match in Sombori, Stara Pazova and Novi Sad. No one was hurt in these incidents.
