Albanian protests continue in Macedonia

With red and black flags and slogans boards in their hands, they opposed the sentencing of six Albanian suspects in the so-called “Monster Process”.

Hundreds of police officers were positioned in the roads during the march of the Albanian citizens, with whom this time joined representatives from politics, art and sport.

The protesters asked the authorities to free the suspect, to compensate them and to discharge the Prosecutor of the “Monster Case”. The protest dispersed after 15:00.

Another meeting was announced today by the Macedonian ethnics, who oppose the protests of ethnic Albanians. But their march was canceled, and will probably be held this Saturday.
