The Albanian markets have the first producers with the quality stamp
“Made in Albania”, The Minister of Agriculture, Edmond Panariti,
distributed certifications for seven producers of wine, olive oil and
honey, by guaranteeing that these subjects respect high hygienic and
sanitary standards.
The quality stamp is valid for a 1 year period, from the day it is issued, while the producer undergoes an inspection.
“With these certificates we have a controlled agricultural production, a set of standards of quality, and a controlled technological process that ties the product with a given region”, Panariti declared.
The quality stamp will be distributed for other products too, and the Minister of Agriculture invited farmers to fulfill the criteria and apply for the certification after the control.
