Albanian President thanks Pope Francis for last Sunday’s prayers

The Albanian President, Ilir Meta, thanked Pope Francis on behalf of the Albanian people for the message he gave during the Sunday mass.

“The attention that You and the Holy See keeps showing towards Albania, towards me and my country, fills us with hope, trust and courage to face the damage caused by the recent floods, and to stay closer to the families and children affected by floods”, Meta says.
