After visiting Fier, the Albanian President, Ilir Meta, went to Berat, where he visited the new promenade flooded by the Osum River and met with residents affected by floods.
According to the President, new measures must be taken to cover the situation for the upcoming winter.
The Albanian Prime Minister was on the same line. He visited the Ura Vajgurore, where he said that the damage was smaller thanks to the investments realized after the floods of 2015. The Prime Minister said that the work must continue.
The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, visited the city of Fier where he met with Mayor Armando Subashi. Basha appreciated the work done by the Armed Forces.
