Rafael Dwuamen, the Ghanaian footballer of Egnatia Fc club in Rrogozhina in central Albania, has died at the age of 28 after suffering a heart attack during this week’s Albanian Super League match between the teams of Egnatia and Partizani.

In his 2019 medical at Brighton in the English Premier League, it was discovered that he had a heart problem for which he was advised to keep a medical device, which he kept for some time and then removed, according to reports.

Dwuamen had stated earlier that he no longer had the need and that the tests and checks had come out fine.

“I am not afraid as God is with me. When I came here to Egnatia I did the medical tests and everything was fine. I never left football and played continuously”, he said.

The late Duamena was a religion believer and thought that everything is written in the journey of people in the world.

“Perhaps for normal people there are many impossible things, but for God there are no impossible things”, the late footballer had stated.
