On the 101st anniversary of creation, the Albanian Post Office started a
new service. Letters and packages will be sent to citizens’ homes
through bicycles.
“We are here to start a new project, the usage of bicycles for the distribution system. This is a good chance to express our environment friendly spirit, our responsibility to the community, and to reduce the service cost, bringing a higher performance to Albanian citizens”, declared Ardit Cela, director of the Albanian Post Office.
This project will be used at first in Tirana, and it will continue in all cities with a heavy traffic.
