The escape of the 38-year-old Chinese woman who in cooperation with a 52-year-old woman, ran a prostitution ring in the Albanian capital, has come to an end.
The officials said that the two Chinese pimps, through social networks, recruited Chinese and Filipino girls, who accommodated them in a rented apartments adapted for prostitution and then exploited them using the website “Escort Tirana”.
If the recruited girls wanted to withdraw from this criminal activity, the two Chinese tutors through the photos published on the “Escort Tirana” page, used threats or violence against them and pressured the family members, in order to continue the exploitation. Through this blackmail, the police have documented a case where the 38-year-old pimp took 15 thousand euros from one of the girls.
But in other social networks and mainly in Telegram, this activity is also advertised, according to an observation of Top Channel, as with a quick search, dozens of girls of different nationalities appear, open for paid meet ups. Some appear with only provocative photos and a phone number while others advertise offering massage services.
The arrival of these people in our country who practice prostitution in rented apartments has already turned into a disturbing phenomenon, which has led to other criminal offenses such as violence and robbery, which often the police investigations have not been able to identify as the perpetrators leave the country after the incidents.
