In implementation of the measures of the operational plan “Clean Territory”, for the prevention, identification of cultivation of narcotic plants, the services of the Vlora Police Station, in the southwest of Albania, have intensified field checks, based on police intelligence and investigations.
The officials added that the police operation coded “Forest” was finalized attacking the cultivation of narcotic plants, and as result 2 citizens were arrested: R. V., 23 years old and A. Ç., 49 years old, both of which were under the house arrest, which they broke while they were again engaged in the cultivation of narcotic plants.
Following the actions, the work continues to capture their accomplice, citizen R. H., 30 years old, resident of Vlora.
These citizens cultivated 320 cannabis plants in a plot of olive trees in the village of Trevllazer. During the operation, the 2 handcuffed citizens were caught in the plot, taking care of narcotic plants.
During the investigation, film evidence was obtained when these citizens, in cooperation with each other, repeatedly going to the plot to take care of the cannabis plants.
The Police Services have destroyed the narcotic plants, as well as seizing as material evidence, an agricultural machine tractor as well as other items that served in this criminal activity.
