Albanian PM: “Elections, without DP. They have a criminal plan for destabilizing Albania”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said that after the deadline had
expired, the Socialist Party will go towards elections without the
Democratic Party.

“They must be clear that they will not withhold Albania, turn it into a new source of turmoil in a region that has been troubled by actors who go against EU and NATO”, Rama said during his weekly communication.

The Albanian Prime Minister said that former Prime Minister Berisha and current leader Basha are holding the Democratic Party hostage. Rama spoke about a plan that aimed to destabilize Albania.

“The biggest shame of the Democratic Party, now under the direction of two minds that fear justice and elections, is that they cannot realize the new justice and our path for a new Albania through hard work, determination and welfare, so that we can enter the European family, starting from the Vetting Law. They will not be able to block it after June 18th”, Rama said.

The Albanian Prime Minister addressed an appeal to the Democratic Party voters, and asked them to unite with the European Albania.

“You will not be voting for the Democratic Party or for the Socialist Party on June 18th. They will be voting for Albania, so that we can leave the past behind and realize the old dream of making Albania like the rest of Europe”, Rama said.
