The most special museum of the Montenegrin Albanians is situated in the
suburbs of Tuz, Lekaj village. The museum is at the house of the 77 year
old Shtjefen Ivezaj. He has been the first photographer of Tuz and he
has documented many historical events, as well as collecting the many
objects of this museum in a long 10 year work.

Shtjefni doesn’t know exactly how many objects he has in his archive, because there must be thousands of them, but he remembers the oldest and the newest objects that have entered the museum.

Every room in this house exposes a special tradition and culture. In this room there are only old tools of agricultural and textile industries. The hall of the house has only old weapons, and each of them has a history.

The kitchen hosts musical instruments and kitchen accessories of old periods. The other room has old folkloric costumes and archeological materials. There is a special angle reserved to books and negatives of thousands of films.

Shtjefen Ivezaj has dedicated his life to this special museum in the Albanian town of Tuz, Monte Negro.
