The Greek Ambassador to Albania, Eleni Surani, was summoned at the Albanian Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs regarding the incident that took place in Bularat, Gjirokastra.
“We communicated the clear stance of the Albanian authorities regarding the incident. We made it clear that the case is being investigated by the Albanian Prosecution, the only authority that can investigate any criminal activity that takes place within the territory of the Republic of Albania, based on the Albanian law and Albanian Constitution”, said the announcement of the Greek Foreign Ministry.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs reiterated the appeals for maturity, making sure that Albania is a safe place for every citizen, including those of Greek nationality.
