The idea of a joint pan-Albanian market was articulated yesterday in
Tirana by new politicians of all Albanian parties in the region.
Ervin Mete, leader of the G99, initiator of the Albanosphere Forum explains the reasons.
“We have an economic crisis in the European Union today, which has shifted the attention away from the Balkan integration. We are not a main priority in the European agenda, which means that there is the need for more cooperation and positive signals from the countries of the region. We must become a single factor, so that we can face the crisis better”, says the G99 leader, Ervin Mete.
In the first meeting of the Albanosphere Forum were present economic experts from all Albanian lands. The meeting is expected to conclude with a joint resolution.
“Let us plan joint policies, and the government should clearly state this”, declared the G99 leader, Ervin Mete.
