The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs reacted after the murder of an 18-year-old Albanian one day ago, the fourth killing of Albanians in the last two weeks.
The Ministry expresses its concern about the murder of Albanians in Grece, and condemns the recent hate speech used by many in the neighboring country, as the murders went through.
The Ministry appeals their Greek counterpart to control Golden Dawn and other extremist segments and not let them hurt the security and dignity of Albanians who live and contribute in the neighboring country.
In the conditions when Albanian citizens are being faced with the pressure of an undeclared campaign of hate and violence, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs expresses the engagement of the Albanian government to give the victims and their families the necessary legal and financial support for defending their basic rights.
