Today was confirmed the bilateral agreement between Italy and Albania for the recognition of driving licenses in both countries.
Following this news Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted through a post on his Facebook page, where he adds that the next process is the recognition of pensions.
“As of today, Albanian driving licenses are recognized as an official document in Italy. Now the next necessary step is the recognition of pensions between the two countries, which with the serious commitment of both governments will not be delayed”, writes Rama.
The agreement between Albania and Italy on the driving licences was reached today after the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka with the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luigi di Maio, who confirmed the completion of the procedures for mutual recognition of driving licenses of vehicles in Italy.
“We reached an agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses for conversion. The signing of the agreement will be next week in Tirana between the responsible structures. The Arbëresh community in Italy is a bridge between our two peoples”, Xhacka said.
