“Europa Nostra”, a pan-European federation with activists for protecting historic and cultural areas, this Sunday raised alarms about seven objects that are about to disappear.
Among these objects is Voskopoja’s Byzantine Church.
“Wars, robberies and natural disaster have caused serious damage to Byzantine churches in Voskopoja, Vithkuq and Southeaster Albania. These are post-byzantine masterpieces”, Europa Nostra says.
The alarm raised by this federation found space on Euronews, which dedicated an article titled “Visit them before they disappear”.
