Albanian athlete, Luiza Gega, achieved another international success with a gold medal at the Istanbul meeting.
The Albanian athlete was first for the 1500 meters race, making it for 4:06:65.
Gega established this way an international record, leaving behind the Europe champion, who ranked third.
Last Tuesday, at the European meeting in the Czech Republic, Gega was ranked second for the indoor 1500 meter race.
Luiza Gega has been staying in Kenya for the past two months, training for these activities and for the European championship, which will be held in Belgrade this year.
