The Albanian acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, after meeting with the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, said that Germany has given full support to our country’s EU accession negotiations.
Cakaj wrote on Facebook that Albania’s progress with the five priorities has received positive comments from Germany.
“In the meeting with Chancellor Angela Merkel, she confirmed once again the absolute support of Germany for opening the EU accession negotiations with Albania. The progress made by Albania with the five key priorities, especially with the judiciary reform, received the most positive comments from the Chancellor. Albania will keep playing its irreplaceable role of stability in the region, and for approaching Western Balkan to the European values”, Cakaj wrote.
