The Albanian Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy informs that starting from June 15th, 2020, regular commercial flights Tirana-Athens and Athens-Tirana will resume.

The decision of the Governments of the two countries to resume regular flights also provides for the implementation of strict security protocols against COVID-19.

Prior acquaintance with these protocols and their implementation by all passengers is adviced as will not only increase safety but at the same time will significantly facilitate the procedures at both airports.

“The Albanian government is in constant contact with the governments of European countries to advance the process of opening their airports, and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy will continuously announce any decision related to the resumption of flights. We urge citizens to be informed before any trip abroad about the security protocols, drafted by the countries where they will travel and which are mandatory to be implemented by all passengers”, stated the ministry’s declaration.
