Accompanied by the Minister of Finance, Anila Denaj and the Minister of Reconstruction, Arben Ahmetaj, Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke today on Albania’s entry in the Eurobond market, dismissing the opposition’s critical remarks on playing games with the country’s borrowing.
DP’s Jorida Tabaku stated earlier that this move increases the country’s debt.
“I am sorry that the opposition has continued a bad habit that does not suit them at all. It is the merit of this government that we emerge in the capital markets after two blows. We are entering with a ‘zero prim’ and on the other hand, I’m sorry it’s similarly talked about the flight of those tailless kites. I don’t know, when we were kids you know, we played with kites, and the tail was an important element”, Rama said ironically, referring to the family name of Tabaku, which in Albanian means a type of kite.
