Albania expels two Russian diplomats

Right after the news that the USA asked Albania to expel US diplomats, after the poisoning of the Russian spy in Britain, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs have reacted.

Through a press release, the Ministry announces that this Monday, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Albania, Alexander Karpushin, was summoned at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

“We communicated him that two Russian diplomats were to be expelled from Albania since their actions don’t go with their diplomatic status”.

Earlier, the US President Donald Trump expelled 60 diplomats and appealed Albania to do the same.
