The acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, has announced that Albania will boycott the SEECP (Southern Eastern Europe Cooperation Process), organized in Bosnia-Herzegovina, in sign of solidarity to Kosovo, which had received a denigrating invitation by Bosnia, which was different to that of sovereign countries.

Cakaj said that the treatment that has been done to Kosovo goes beyond the purpose to create an atmosphere of trust, good neighboring and stability.

Cakaj wrote that there can be no cooperation without equal treatment.

Treatment and statements from the BiH Presidency are not conductive to good neighbourly relations and EU values and principles, thus preventing Kosovo from participating in the SEECP”, tweeted President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi on Saturday.
