Albania remains among the preferred destination for the Albanians of
Macedonia even for these summer holidays. The low prices are the main
reason why they choose the Albanian coastline.
The directors of the Fikret Turs tourist agency, from Kumanova, who have been organizing travels to Albania for years, say that their agency has 10% more bookings fro the Albanian coastline, compared to the same period of one year ago.
According to the owner of this agency, Isen Nexhipi, Durres remains the most preferred destination for the Albanians from Macedonia due to the cheap accommodations.
The Savana Tourist agency in Skopje says that the season has started good, while Greece remains the most preferred options. Other attractive destinations are Cyprus and Turkey, while the interest for Tunisia and Egypt is very low this year.
