The bank money were robbed before being loaded on an airplane due to the
failure to act of the security staff inside the airport perimeter, now
charged with omission.
Kruja Prosecution, one day after three security officers were arrested, said that none of them were doing their duty properly. They weren’t even on the designated location.
Another thing that made it very easy for the robber to take the money and leave, was that Arben Karafili, Chief of the ICTS, the company that was to monitor the security, has not undertaken any action to prevent the robbery.
His two dependants, Bledar Blloshmi and Fadil Jonuzaj, who were to patrol the airport perimeter, have not completed this task before they weren’t even close to the area.
The Prosecution also arrested the Director of Port Services, Vangjel Nikolla, and Kujtim Picari, who was accompanying without following all procedures. He had taken the “Nazeri 2000” security van without the driver.
