Tomorrow (Saturday, December 11, 2021) at the Air Albania stadium in Tirana convenes the national Democratic Party assembly convened by the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, against its current chairman Lulzim Basha.
As can be seen from the images, the first preparations have started in the pitch area, where the podium is being set for the speakers.
The voting equipment has also been prepared and is being transported there, so the participating delegates will have the opportunity to vote for the re-establishment of the Democratic Party, and the return of former Prime Minister Berisha at its helm.
In his previous speeches Berisha has stated that he does not see it as an obstacle for the future of the Democratic Party the fact that it has been declared “non grata” by the United States, as he insists that it is an unfounded decision.
The former prime minister also denies that the move is undertaken by him in order to eliminate Basha, or as a personal revenge against the Democratic chairman for expelling him from the parliamentary group, as a result of the decision of the US State Department.
