The Albanian Ambassador to Skopje, Fatos Reka, said that Albania
supports the implementation of an agreement for finding a solution to
the crisis and for helping Macedonia’s EU and NATO integration.
During a meeting in Tetova, Ambassador Reka heard the concern of the PDSH leader, Menduh Thaci, regarding the sincerity of the three parties that will form the interim government and the implementation of the reforms that come from the June 2nd agreement.
Thaci underlined the necessity for this package of reforms to include the seven points of the PDSH platform, such as the Legal-Constitutional position of the Albanians in Macedonia, consensual decision making, fair budget division, Albanian language made official, removal of ethnic colors form state symbols and that three main state posts should go to Albanians.
The PDSH leader underlined that Albania has an important role as a NATO member and that it is a decision making factor for the future of the Albanians of Macedonia and the entire regio.
