The Minister of Finances, Arben Ahmetaj, said that the economic growth
for 2016 will be 3.4%. Ahmetaj said for the media that the reforms are
giving effect.
Ahmetaj said that the economy has left the crisis behind and has started a growing trend.
“The recent statistics show a positive trend for the economy. We foresee the economic growth for 2016 to be 3.4%”, the Minister said, adding that 2017 is expected to be a better economic year.
Ahmetaj declared that the fight against informality is undergoing and it is working, while civilian consumption is consolidating.
