Agim Rrapaj testifies in Meta-Prifti case

Agim Rrapaj, representative of the Tola brothers in the race for the
hydropower concession in Shushica, testified in today’s court session at
the Supreme Court, for the trial of the former Deputy Prime Minister,
Ilir Meta.

Rrapaj declared in front of the Penal College that he had contacted the former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ilir Meta, for getting information about the delays and the economic damage that was caused to the companies he represented.

Rrapaj declared that he addressed to Meta, because in this union of companies there were foreign investors from Hungary, and that he had been authorized by them to notify the Foreign Ministry and the Hungarian Embassy. Regarding this concern, Rrapaj confirmed that he had handed over a memo at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy. This memo was accompanied with the financial damage due to the delays, which Rrapaj declared that was around 700.000 EUR.
