The inability of the judge panel to form has failed today’s trial for
Lavderim Tufa, in which was expected the final decision for the
defendant.
Lavderim Tufa is being retried in Tirana’s Court for the murder of Fatmir Rama, also known as “Miri i Xhikes”. In the first trial, Tufa was sentenced with life to prison, but this was rejected by the Supreme Court, which ordered a retrial.
Even after the retrial, the Prosecution asked for life sentence.
“Gerdeci” postponed
The recent session of the Gerdeci Trial, at the Court of Tirana, has failed even this time, due to the absence of some of the defense lawyers.
This process is at the phase of the final conclusions, currently at the conclusions of Sokol Ngjeci.
