The German prestigious newspaper “Der Spiegel” dedicated a special
article to Kosovo after the tense situation that was created in north.
The newspaper says that the negative phenomena, such as electoral frauds, corruption and abuses are impeding the progress of the new country.
“Der Spiegel” also comments an interview with the leader of Self-Determination Movement, Albin Kurti, which is considered as an eloquent opponent of Thaçi’s government.
“Hashim Thaçi is a thief that robs his own country, and that governs as a toy of the US colonial power”, the newspaper quotes Kurti.
Der Spiegel also mentions the great influence of Belgrade in Kosovo Serbs through teachers, policemen and doctors.
