“Albpetrol†buys luxury cars

In the peak of its financial crisis and on the brink of bankruptcy, the
state owned Oil Company “Albpetrol” allows treating itself with the
luxury of brand new cars.
“Shqip” newspaper says that the Company leaders have asked to buy two cars of most recent production. For one of the cars they have even specified:
“The car mileage should be 0, its production year should be 2011 and it should not cost more than 60,000 EUR,” says the tender.
For both cars, “Albetrol” is ready to pay 72,000 EUR in total.
Meanwhile, the company notified the oil workers that by September they will fire 2500 of them, since they don’t have enough funds for paying wages.
