Administrative Court ordered suspension of testing of doctors

The civilian law was reviewed by one single judge, but the base of this verdict will have five judges.

The Health Minister had ordered to test all nurses and doctors, but it was contested by them. They even protested in front of the Prime Minister’s office before the Court’s verdict came out.

“Doctors and nurses have been threatened with their jobs if they protest for their rights. They want them to be tested, fired, have their agreements breached and not even be able to protest”, declared Erjon Bala, nurse.

“We want to respect the laws for a public health system with high standards, with working conditions, medicine and equipments, without a lack of these”, declared doctor Rustem Celami.

While the protest was not that big in Tiarna, the doctors of Vlore requested the Health Minister to resign and conditions in hospitals to be improved.

“Mr.Health Minister, resign. You know nothing about the Health Care. Resign and let one specialist to lead us”, declared Dr.Odise Anagnosti.

The Health Ministry declared that people will not be fired after the test.
