“Clifford Chance”, the law studio used by the Albanian Energy
Distribution Operator “OSHEE” in the Court of Arbitration case against
DIA, sent a letter to the Minister of Energy and Industry, Damian
Gjiknuri, and the administrator of the OSHEE, Ardian Cela.
The studio says that despite the fact that Ilir Meta has not react against the media articles, there is nothing that ties him with the corruptive actions of DIA or their administrators.
“It is sad that the non-public nature of the arbitration process has been violated, with some of our presentations leaking to the press for political reasons. Some media representatives tied the name of the Parliament Speaker with corruption accusations, which has been unjustifiable based on our presentation. You would understand that we need to stay distant from such assumptions from the media, as regards the continuing procedures of the arbitration, but we can guarantee that we have nothing that connects Mr.Ilir Meta with the corruptive actions of DIA or with some of their administrators. However, the frantic efforts of OSHEE opponents to cause public confusion have failed and the procedure ended with the final verdict of the arbitration court on December 14th”, says the letter of Clifford Chance.
