Abuses with hospital medicine

The online pharmaceutical service at the University Hospital Center will avoid any kind of abuse. Within six months, the passage of every medicine, from the central pharmacy to the patients, will be checked online.

“Now we have secured the online connection for medicine and materials. There is full accuracy, a very clear database that will be used in our center, online and in real time, which is very credible. We can take information about the flux and movement of any medicine, at any time”, declared the director of the Tirana University Hospital Center, Sajmir Ivziku.

With the new electronic system, the patients will not face anymore lack of medicine. The Head of Service will be able to know the status of the medicaments and could ask for an alternative medicine.

“All Service Chiefs have been confidentially equipped with their own password, with which they will check the status of the medicine that we have in our institution”, Ivziku declared.

The entire staff has been trained for this process, which will be able to stop a series of abuses.
