The increased budget for education did not help Albanians to find more
jobs, according to the official employment office data, which show that
11.406 citizens that were registered as unemployed have a university
diploma, making 7.5% of the total.
The most affected age-groups are 15-29 and 40-50, with 27%. Individuals 30-39 and those over 50 make 23% of the total.
The unemployment register for the first seven months shows that the employment offices have helped 9300 people to get employed, while the total number of unemployed people is 151.879.
