
Albania is getting ready for the longest weekend of isolation, almost 60 hours from today at 17.30 until Monday at 5 in the morning.
Punishments for offenders will not be lacking, warns the police.
Top Channel’s Anila Hoxha reports that based on the situation, the police will be out in neighborhoods for patrols and there will be reinforced checkpoints.
There will be exceptions only for those citizens who will have emergencies, especially to go to hospitals.
Numerous fines have been imposed by the police these days and yesterday was the harshest for fines against pedestrians.
During these 5 weeks, 6200 fines have been imposed on pedestrians, as well as 1920 driving licenses which were revoked.
Meanwhile, in the last few hours, three citizens have been arrested by the police after they opposed the imposition of a fine and they will appear in court on charges of opposing the police.
A citizen in Kukës was fined 700 thousand ALL after violating the order to self-quarantine as he had returned from abroad.
