5000 pines were planted in a 2-hectare area near the museum neighborhood of Gorica, Berat.
The rehabilitation of this area that was damaged in 2012, will prevent an acute problem for the Berat citizens. Homes and historic sites will be more protected from erosion and landslides.
PM Rama said that the moratorium for forests will be accompanied by some laws that will pas in Parliament.
Rama said that this would complete the law and would create a balance between the intensive work for planting forests and the preservation of existing trees.
