4 people died in a tragic car accident on Tuesday morning in Velipojw, near Shkodra. Thre of the victims are named as Giorgio Angelo, 25, Besmir Kola, 39, Artenisa Peraj 21. The fourth victim remains unidentified but authorities believe to be 25 year old.
Their car, a BMW, fell into a canal on 4:00 AM, it was impossible for them to get out in time and died on spot. In the Vinuli canal water level remain high and driver Besmir Kola together with the three other passengers were unable to get out of there. Police was notified by casual by passers and it took them several hours to recover the bodies.
First evidence shows poor road quality was the main cause of the incident together with the lack of street lights, in an area where car accidents happen very often.
