4 arrested for the murder of Ardian Nikulaj in Shengjin, British woman detained as suspect

The number of people arrested today in Britain, as suspectsin the murder of businessman Ardian Nikulaj, has reached to four.

28-year-old British citizen Harriet Bridgeman, accused of being an accomplice in the execution of Nikulaj in Shengjin in northwestern Albania, has been captured.

Bridgeman has been arrested in Great Britain as her extradition to Albania is expected.

“Meanwhile, the State Police is intensively continuing the work, in close cooperation with partners, to locate and capture the other 2 persons declared wanted in connection with the event.” – said the Albanian police in a statement.

Earlier, Edmond Haxhia, Stephen Hunt and Thomas Mithan were arrested in Britain through an extensive police operation, a day after receiving the request from the Ministry of Justice of Albania.

Yesterday afternoon, a judge in London assessed as valid the arrest warrants issued a few days ago by the Lezha court.

Top Channel learns that the operation to capture them was coordinated by the State Police in cooperation with the Metropolitan Police in London and the agency against organized crime.
