A 38-year-old man wanted by the Italian justice for the criminal offense “Trafficking in narcotics in large quantities, committed in collaboration”. has been handcuffed by the Tirana police. If found guilty he faces up to 10 years in prison.
The arrested person is Gj. L. resident in Tirana, for whom the Court of Preliminary Investigations of Rome, has imposed the measure of international arrest warrant, for the criminal offense “Trafficking in narcotics in large quantities, committed in collaboration.”
This person, in the role of mediator, assisted by other persons, managed to hand over to an Italian citizen (drug trafficker), a large amount of cannabis, which was then seized by the Italian police, in an operation that brought before justice the majority of the perpetrators involved in this illegal criminal activity.
