More than 30.000 people have signed the petition against the Nobel prize that was awarded to the Austrian writer, Peter Handke, who was a supporter of the ruthless Balkan war criminal, former Yugoslav dictator, Miloshevic.

The petition was addressed to the Swedish Academy appealing them to strip the title from the man who was known around the world for constantly defending the war criminal, Slobodan Miloshevic.

The Albanian Academy of Science has sent a letter to the Swedish Academy, stating that the candidate who received this prize makes this jury look as to offer double standards, thus supporting collective crimes and hate speech based on race, religion, gender and culture. The same academy that gives the Peace Nobel Prize cannot allow itself to encourage hate and conflict”, the letter says.

The Albanian Science Academy state that they are saddened by the fact that the jury abandoned the main principles it is founded on, by closing their eyes in front of the encouragement that Handke offered to the hate speech against Albanians.
