About two weeks after the last cases discovered, coronavirus has returned to Fier as the Health Ministry confirmed 3 new cases there in the last 24 hours.
Top Channel has learned that the three new cases are members of a family in the “8 Shkurti” neighborhood.
They are a pregnant woman, her child and her mother-in-law.
According to reports, the pregnant woman a few days ago visited her mother infected with Covid 19 in Tirana, while later infected her 2-year-old child and her mother-in-law.
For a more specialized treatment, the pregnant woman and the 2-year-old child will be sent to the infectious disease hospital in Tirana.
The three new cases bring to 40 the number of people infected in these two months in the Fier-Rroskovec and Patos region. Of these, 3 people have lost their lives and 34 were cured.
