3 million USD for gender equality

The Swedish government has given 3 million USD for supporting the implementation of the government priorities in gender quality.
Patrik Svenson, from the Swedish embassy, signed an agreement with the Permanent Coordinator of the UN in Albania, Zineb Toumi Benjelloum.
“The support from the government of Sweden is essential for giving to the UN the possibility to help Albania in achieving important successes in gender equality”, the coordinator declared.
This support of the Swedish government will be used for solidifying the capacities of the civil society organizations; in fighting violence against women and making them economically stronger.
