3.367.075 Albanian citizens are allowed to vote on the June 21st elections, based on the second preliminary electoral list.
The Interior Ministry sayst hat the number of double names is twice smaller compared to the list of the central elections on June 23rd 2013. They said they are working to reduce this number until the publishing of the final list.
“There are 3900 double names and we are working to reduce this number. We have monitored a process for blocking the names of citizens more than 100 years old, bringing it down to 1140 citizens, from 1288 that it was in the last Parliamentary elections”, declared Bledar Doracaj, Director of the Civilian Registrar.
The preliminary list has been sent at the Civilian Registrar offices in Tirana, Durres, Elbasan, Korce, Vlore, Gjirokaster, Fier, Lezhe, Shkoder and Diber.
Citizens with voting rights can make verifications for avoiding any mistake.
