27 icons stolen from Shen Thanasi Church

The Shen Thanasi church in Bularat village, Gjirokaster, was stolen and
some of the icons were taken by the intruders, according to local
police.
The robbers have taken 27 ancient icons, while the new ones were found damaged on the floor.
This was seen by the church curator, who immediately notified the police. The
After investigation, the police declared that they have identified the author. He is Niko Cakaj, from Skrapar. This is not the first time that this church is being robbed.
Police declared that they are looking for the author and his two possible collaborators.
