The Prosecution might have found new evidence at the residence of
Armando Kasaj, the Prime Minister’s Office IT, accused of having deleted
the January 21st footages from the security cameras server.
During the inspection, the agents found some appliances that could have the January 21st images.
“At the residence of Armando Kasaj were seized one laptop, one PC, USB flash disks and the personal phone of the 27 year old. The evidence have been seized by order of the judicial police, and were sent to the investigation team”, declared the General Prosecution sources, according to Shqip newspaper.
The same sources add that there are suspicions that some security camera footage could be found in these appliances.
The police seized them on 23 January 2012, right after Kasa received the court’s decision. The two police officers communicated the court decision to the 27-year-old. The execution was made at the Council of Ministers building. Then the investigators went at the house of this person, with a court order, and have searched for evidence. They have seized only the appliances that could have any data about the murderers.
