2000 police officers to securing Albania-Israel match

The police officers engaged for the match between Albania and Israel was
doubled. 2000 effectives from the Renea forces, the Rapid Intervention,
the Traffic Police and Anti-Terror Directory, have cooperated with the
Special Operation Forces and the Tirana and Elbasan Police Directory.

The implementation of the security measures started this Thursday, when the team arrived in Rinas. The National Guard was also engaged to secure the hotel.

The Elbasan Police took measures to guarantee public order and security in their city, while the physical inspection will be realized by the Operational Forces at the state police.

Police say that fans who have purchased tickets to watch the match from the stadium, must be present four hours before the match, in order to avoid confusion.

Football fans will be inspected and will not be allowed to keep metallic coins, keys, fireworks, flag poles, water bottles or even umbrellas.

No political or racist banners will be allowed and the entire parking space around the town will be emptied.

The police asks citizens to understand the situation and cooperate.
